The Bible

We believe the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing, and that they are the final authority in faith and life.

Nature Of God

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that these three are co-equal, in all regards; co-eternal in being, co-equal in power and glory, having all the same nature, attributes and perfections.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became incarnate to reveal God to men and to reconcile men to God. He always was and always will be co-equal with the Father. We believe that Christ is truly God and truly man; that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He was buried, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven; and is now our High Priest and Intercessor. He will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and Jesus. He is present in the world to convict man of sin and to point men to and glorify Jesus.

Nature Of Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God to worship and serve God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God.

Salvation

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation, and that those who trust Christ as Savior receive forgiveness and are born again, passing from death into everlasting life. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.

Eternal Security

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.

The Church

We believe that the true Church is composed of all who are born again, that the Holy Spirit baptizes all believers into one body, endowing the Church with the gifts needed for its work.

Ordinances

We observe two ordinances, Immersion Baptism and Communion. Neither adds to our salvation, nor imparts grace but are observed in obedience to Jesus’ instruction.
